WGH Ministry

(The Work of God’s Hands Ministry)

WGH Ministry is a non-profit, non-denomination group ministry, which derived its name based on the verse from the Book of Isaiah chapter 19 verse 25.

Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people,

and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.” Isaiah 19:25

WGH Ministry bases their teaching and focus solely on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ.  WGH Ministry believes in the divine healing thru the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Assyrian people are hand picked by God and WGH Ministry’s sole purpose is to reach all Assyrian people.  We invite all Assyrians regardless of their denomination to join us at our events to worship together and receive the blessings of God’s word, Jesus’ touch and healing from the Holy Spirit.

Since the Assyrians are the work of Gods hands, our prayers are that the blessings you receive from our program will lead you to become God’s disciples and help us spread the good word to all nations.

Mission Statement

We proclaim and believe with the help of the Holy Spirit and God’s anointing power, everyone would receive and understand the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ heals broken hearts, sets captives free, and gives eternal life to all who believe in Him. We have pledged our lives to Jesus Christ, and through worship, witnessing, and ministry, together we reveal the power of the Holy Spirit for the needs of the community.

We Believe the Bible Teaches:

  1. In the verbal; inspiration and inerrancy of the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments.
  2. Our God is a trinity in unity, manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
  3. In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His pre-existence, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  4. That regeneration (the New Birth) by the Holy Ghost for the salvation of lost and sinful mankind, through personal faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, is absolutely essential.
  5. In a life of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace.
  6. In the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, received subsequent to the new birth, such speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, as the initial physical sign and evidence.
  7. In water baptism by immersion for believers only, which is a direct commandment of our Lord, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
  8. In the Lord’s Supper.
  9. That divine healing is provided for in the atonement, and is available to all who truly believe.
  10. In the Pre-millennial appearing in the air of the Lord Jesus Christ to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet him in the air (the Rapture); and His Second Coming (advent), to reign on the earth a thousand years. (Millennium)
  11. In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  12. In a literal Heaven and literal Hell.

Meet the Pastor

Pastor Robert Sawra

Pastor Robert began his ministry in Iran and continued his dream of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ upon completing his theological education and graduating from ICI Global University.

Through his ministry he touched many lives.  By hearing the good news many accepted Christ into their lives.  Also many experienced healing from various illnesses.

Within the 35 years of his ministry, pastor Robert experienced working with the youth, young adults, and various church congregations ranging from home gatherings to big churches.

Pastor Robert maintained his strong faith and ministry to Christ until his departure from Iran despite many hardships and difficulties.  Upon his arrival to the United States, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, pastor Robert began a new chapter of his ministry.  He continued ministering to Assyrian and Persian congregations.  His vision was to work among a new generation where every individual he encountered accepted Christ as his/her personal Savior.

Pastor Robert’s calling is to serve God the Father by ministering to individuals and equipping them with the knowledge needed in order to live a Godly life until the day that Jesus Christ returns in all His Glory.
